Located in Cabano in the Témiscouata area, Fort Ingall is the reconstruction of a 19th-century British military fortification built in the heart of a border dispute between the British and Americans. Visit this historic monument comprising exhibitions that will make you discover, among other things, the daily life of the soldier of the time. The guided tour will also allow you to better understand the importance of the excavations made on the site.
Moreover, the most dauntless of you will be able to literally enter the Fort’s history by spending a night in the soldiers’ dormitory, the officer’s suite, the prison guard’s bedroom or in the camping set on the shores of lake Témiscouata.
