The town of Isle-Verte is recognized as one of the most beautiful patrimonial ensemble in Quebec and offer 19 sites that each houses the most important remnants of yesteryear. You can visit the Filiature, the neogothic-style church, the old courthouse and the Maison Girard, which are all on the historic register. The Maison Girard is also the entryway to the Baie de l’Isle-Verte National Wildlife Area. In this reserve, you can visit a permanent exhibition on peat bogs, wildfowl, flora and the inhabitants of the reserve.
