Located directly on the St. Lawrence River banks, the St. Lawrence Exploration Centre invites you to discover this rich watercourse which has shaped our lives. On the first floor, the Centre presents a permanent exhibition entitled “The St. Lawrence from bird's eye view”. This exhibition allows you to discover everything which can be seen on the water surface: the coast and its wildlife, sea birds, whales and seals. On the building’s basement level, it is the mysterious underwater world of the St. Lawrence which will be revealed to you: plankton, bony fishes, sharks, rays and the small marine life await visitors in the exhibition entitled “The Secrets of the St. Lawrence”. Come admire bones of marine mammals, touch a starfish, experiment marine sciences in our laboratory for children, watch films on the marine environment, examine the coastal fauna with our telescope and much more! Our nature guides await you there!
