A Step Back in Time

In the 18^th and 19^th centuries, the general store was the main gathering place in all the Quebec villages. This is where people used to gather to hear about the latest news and also to buy the essential goods. Nowadays, the Magasin général de Kamouraska welcomes visitors in this house renovated to fit the 1930s décor.

Come discover the numerous fresh products, the regional products and the fine products of the region. A few sweets await you as well. A sampling counter invites you to discover all the delicious regional products. Enjoy them on the terrace overlooking the river.
